Wicked just celebrated their 10 year anniversary, and to celebrate they will be transforming the American Airlines terminal at JFK into the land of Oz! On November 30th, the “World of WICKED” will be installed in the terminal, featuring a replica of Glinda’s bubble and a special “Behind the Emerald Curtain” museum display. How exciting for those who are flying on that day!

This month, Broadway will see Beautiful: The Carole King Musical open for previews. Beautiful tells the inspiring true story of Carole King’s remarkable rise to stardom, from a hit songwriting team with her husband Gerry Goffin, to her relationship with fellow writers Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann and becoming one of the most successful solo acts in popular music history. Along the way, she made more than beautiful music, she wrote the soundtrack for a generation. The group minimum for Beautiful: The Carole King Musical is 10 and the show will open for previews on November 21, 2013 with an official opening of January 12, 2014.

Spotlight on Broadway – an interactive website and multi-media project featuring the history of Broadway – has officially launched with 40 videos that chart the evolution of Broadway’s 40 official theaters and honor the thousands of men and women who have worked on Broadway.
