Broadway Inbound has announced the celebrity line up of actors and actresses in Broadway Collection shows for Spring 2014. Four member shows will welcome a selection of well-known personalities, all of which promise to make their mark on the Broadway stage. Headliners include k.d. lang, Toni Braxton, Babyface, Carly Rae Jepsen, Zach Braff, Alan Cumming and Michelle Williams.

After Midnight, based on the music of Harlem’s Jazz Age, will feature celebrity appearances by several famous artists, starting with Grammy Award-winning Canadian pop/country singer k.d. lang through March 9th. Next, Toni Braxton and Babyface, both R&B artists and recipients of numerous Grammy Awards, will join the After Midnight cast. Toni Braxton is best known for the songs “He Wasn’t Man Enough” and “Un-Break My Heart” and has become an international sensation throughout her career, winning awards worldwide. Babyface, most famous for songwriting and production, has produced and written hits such as Boyz II Men’s “End of the Road” and “I’ll Make Love to You,” Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston’s “When You Believe,” and other songs by well-known artists including Michael Jackson, Madonna, Aretha Franklin, Faith Evans, and even Toni Braxton herself. Toni Braxton and Babyface will appear in After Midnight from March 18th through the 30th at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

Canadian pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen, whose hit song “Call Me Maybe” took the world by storm, will star in Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella from February 4th through April 27th at the Broadway Theatre. Jepsen will be joined by Emmy Award and Golden Globe nominee Fran Drescher, famous for roles in 1977 blockbuster film Saturday Night Fever and hit sitcom The Nanny, who will play Cinderella’s evil stepmother until April 13th. The classic tale Cinderella has been adapted for Broadway with a modern romantic twist, mixing contemporary comedy and wit with the story audiences know and love.

Woody Allen’s movie-gone-musical Bullets Over Broadway will star Emmy Award-nominee Zach Braff, best known for his role in the sitcom Scrubs and film Garden State. Zach Braff is also an accomplished writer, director, and producer. The show follows an aspiring playwright, portrayed by Braff, who gets in over his head when he hires the girlfriend of a gangster to star in his play. Bullets Over Broadway begins previews on March 11th and officially opens on April 10th at the St. James Theatre.

Scottish-born Emmy nominee Alan Cumming, famous for London’s production of Hamlet and his role on American television drama The Good Wife, will reprise his role as the Emcee in Cabaret’s third Broadway revival. Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams will join him as Sally Bowles, the star of the show. Williams is famous for roles in Dawson’s Creek, Brokeback Mountain, and My Week with Marilyn. This classic Broadway musical tells the story of a seedy nightclub in 1931 Berlin and an aspiring young writer who travels there to write his novel. He gets more than he bargained for when he falls in love with a performer at the nightclub as the tension surrounding them grows. Cabaret begins previews on March 21st and opens on April 24th at Studio 54.

The above musicals are all a part of The Broadway Collection, a group of New York City’s most highly regarded musicals and shows, selected for their unparalleled popularity with international audiences and put together by Broadway Inbound. Tickets are available through the international Broadway Inbound and Broadway Collection partners.
