Broadway Inbound Announces the Sale of New York Yankees and Mets Tickets

Broadway Inbound, the group and wholesale ticketing source for tour operators and travel industry distribution partners, has announced it will now offer FIT tickets to see the New York Yankees and New York Mets baseball teams this season. Expanding on last summer’s initiative to make Yankees tickets available to international sports fans, Broadway Inbound will also sell Mets tickets this season to provide access to both of New York’s Major League Baseball teams. This sporting addition to Broadway Inbound’s preexisting theater ticket sales provides even more of the best that New York has to offer international visitors.

A trip to the ball field should be on the itinerary of any visitor in search of an authentic American experience. Known in the USA as the “national pastime,” baseball found its origins in 1871 when the first professional league was formed. The national expansion and excitement surrounding baseball has been credited to Babe Ruth, who led the New York Yankees to four World Series wins in the 1920’s and set staggering home-run records igniting national attention for the all-American sport.

Since the 1920’s the Yankees have enjoyed notoriety as an unmatched baseball team, with fans not just in New York but all around the country and the world. This season, visitors to the Big Apple can take a short 25-minute subway ride to the new Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, where they will be among the last to watch internationally renowned shortstop Derek Jeter play in his final season. Travelers will also view Jacoby Ellsbury, CC Sabathia and the rest of the Yankees play in a quest for their 28th World Series Championship, which takes place this October. Tickets to Yankees games are on sale now until September 24th through Broadway Inbound.

Broadway Inbound has also added the Mets to their NYC-sports tickets options. The Mets were founded in 1962, and since that time have won the hearts of fans through their perseverance and soul, having become known locally as the “Amazing Mets.” This season, international visitors can get close to the action as lead-off batter Granderson, along with fan-favorites second-baseman Murphy and team-captain David Wright go for the glory. The Mets play at Citi Field (formerly known as Shea Stadium) in Queens, easily accessible by subway. Broadway Inbound currently has tickets available for July but more availability will be announced soon.

Keeping in mind the interests of international travelers drawn to America, Broadway Inbound’s newly added sporting events enhance their already diverse Broadway offerings. Broadway Inbound’s constant innovation is aimed at providing the utmost in entertainment options to the diverse travelers to New York City, exposing them to the best the city and the surrounding areas have to offer. This season, travelers can contact their local tour operators to purchase tickets to numerous games at multiple price points for both The American League’s New York Yankees and The National League’s New York Mets.
