It’s officially the start of Labor Day weekend, which means a relaxing and stress free weekend for all. In the Big Apple, long weekends call for seeing a Broadway production, and lucky for us a new musical is starting its preview runs.

On September 1, performances of Holiday Inn: The New Irving Berlin Musical will begin, as a part of Roundabout Theater Company’s 2016-2017 Season. The new Irving Berlin Musical, Holiday Inn, is the perfect show for all ages. The show follows the story of Jim, who leaves show business behind to settle down on his farmhouse in Connecticut. When Jim meets Linda, a schoolteacher with hidden talent, they turn the farmhouse into a musical inn that celebrates each holiday with a dazzling song and dance performance.  But what happens when Jim’s friend Ted tries to convince Linda to be his new dance partner in Hollywood?

The musical will feature over 20 classic songs from the Irving Berlin catalogue including “Steppin’ Out With My Baby,” and combine original choreography, and spectacular cast such as Tony nominated Bryce Pinkham, Corbin Bleu and Lora Lee Gayer, resulting in a not to be missed musical performance.
