Something Rotten Is A Member of The Broadway Collection

New York, NY – A new addition to Broadway and The Broadway Collection, SOMETHING ROTTEN! is a fresh world-premiere musical comedy opening for previews on March 23, 2015 at the St. James Theatre. The show will star two-time Tony Award nominee Brian d’Arcy James, Tony Award winner Christian Borle, and Tony Award nominee John Cariani. Directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw with music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Wayne Kirkpatrick, the musical officially opens April 22, 2015.

SOMETHING ROTTEN! is a new musical which provides a fictional account of the first musical every conceived. In the age of William Shakespeare, two brothers struggle to write something fresh and original for the stage. Upon consulting a local soothsayer, they learn a new era of theater will involve singing, dancing and acting and so set out to pen the world’s first MUSICAL! The show begins previews March 23rd at the St. James Theatre and officially opens April 22nd, 2015.
