Andrew Burnap, Phillipa Soo, Jordan Donica, and Bartlett Sher Talk the Legacy of Camelot
Lerner and Loewe’s classic 1960 musical Camelot is headed back to Broadway via Lincoln Center Theater and Tony-winning director Bartlett Sher, complete with a newly revised book penned by Aaron Sorkin. Previews will begin March 9 prior to an official opening April 13 at LCT’s Vivian Beaumont Theater.
Andrew Burnap, Phillipa Soo, and Jordan Donica, set to star as King Arthur, Guenevere, and Lancelot (respectively), joined Sher and donned costumes for the first time for a photo shoot, talking about the beloved musical’s legacy between takes.
Burnap, Soo, and Donica will be joined in the cast by Dakin Matthews as Merlyn/Pellinore, Taylor Trensch as Mordred, Marilee Talkington as Morgan Le Fey, Anthony Michael Lopez as Sir Dinadan, Fergie Philippe as Sir Sagramore, and Danny Wolohan as Sir Lionel.
