The Metropolitan Opera

A trip to the Metropolitan Opera at Lincoln Center is an unforgettable New York experience. Showcasing a range of musical and production styles, the Met offers something for everyone to enjoy—from students to first timers to seasoned aficionados.

The spring season features visionary new productions of Verdi’s La Forza del Destino and Bizet’s Carmen, as well as three of Puccini’s most cherished works, Madama Butterfly, La Rondine, and Turandot.  And the final weeks of the season see the return of Terence Blanchard’s Fire Shut Up in My Bones, the sensation of the 2021-22 season, and Kevin Puts’s The Hours, the hit of fall 2022, which once again features the unbeatable leading trio of Renée Fleming, Joyce DiDonato, and Kelli O’Hara.
